blogger's quilt festival

This is my entry into the quilt festival. I love this quilt because it's the first I've ever completed from start to finish. It was also one of the only quilts I didn't use any precuts on! I also stippled this quilt, which wasn't as horrible as everyone makes it out to be, it's now my go to style for quilting.

It's a small quilt, a bit larger than a crib size and it's backed in one of my favorite fabrics ever, apples & pears by alexander henry. It may not match but it's certainly fun!

  4. I love your fabric selection. I am kind of into monochromatic fabric collections these days. I have one very similar to yours sitting at my machine waiting for me to decide how to cut it up. Your quilt is very pretty. Good job.

  8. It's beautiful! I love that AH fruit fabric too--I have a yard-plus that I am hoarding until I can decide what to use it for.
